甲 Tall tree · 乙 Grass and flowers

甲 is a tall tree that grows straight up: steady, principled, eager to lead. Because it does not bend easily, it can break.

乙 is grass and vine that bends in the wind but does not snap: flexible, good at connecting people, always finding a way to thrive.

丙 Sun · 丁 Lamp

丙 is the sun that shines on everyone: bright, open, with nothing to hide. It heats up fast and can cool down just as fast.

丁 is a lamp in the dark: delicate and warm, lighting one person deeply. Its inner fire burns for a long time.

戊 Mountain · 己 Field

Why the Day Master alone is not enough

A 甲 born in spring is full of strength; a 甲 born in autumn is a tree that needs pruning. The characters around it also change its color.

The Day Master is the hero of the story, but the story itself only appears when all eight characters and the season are read together.
